Money Isn't All You're Saving
ENERGY STAR® is a dynamic government/industry partnership introduced by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1992. It is a voluntary labeling program designed to identify and promote high quality, energy-efficient products. Using less energy helps you save money -- and the environment.
You'll find the ENERGY STAR® label on products that exceed existing energy performance guidelines for energy efficiency, including home appliances and audio equipment, office equipment, compact fluorescent lamps and fixtures, air conditioners, furnaces and windows. In addition, office buildings, universities and schools, and retail centers can now qualify for the label.
